Other Details to Note
⭐ “Peaceful, private setting…just quiet and restful.” - John 😎 What’s Canadensis, PA all about? Canadensis is one of those low-key Pocono spots that feels more like a tucked-away local community than a tourist hub. It’s surrounded by dense woods, winding roads, and pockets of classic places like Skytop Lodge and Buck Hill Falls, so you get a mix of natural beauty and historic charm. There’s not a ton of hustle here—which is kind of the point—but you’ll find small diners, old-school markets, and easy access to trails, lakes, and state parks. It’s the kind of place where mornings are quiet, wildlife is common, and most people come to slow down rather than check things off a list. 👋 Meet your hosts We're devoted to ensuring your stay is as comfortable and memorable as it can be! We live close by and care deeply about this home so rest assured this property is well maintained and cared for. Neighborhood
Within about a half-mile, it feels like you’re tucked deep in the woods with very little around besides trees, quiet homes, and the occasional winding driveway—it's peaceful, private, and you likely won’t see many people out and about. This area leans more residential and nature-focused than touristy, with a mix of full-time locals and second-home owners who keep things low-key. You’re close to well-known spots like Skytop Lodge and Buck Hill Falls, but right nearby it’s mostly just forest, wildlife, and stillness—safe, calm, and ideal if you’re looking to truly unplug.
Guest access
Our guests will have access to our entire house and 6 acres.

Location
Getting around here is pretty straightforward, but you’ll definitely want a car. The area is quiet and spread out, so things like grocery stores, restaurants, and breweries are usually a short drive rather than a walk. Parking is easy and stress-free—you’ll have space at the house, and most places nearby have plenty of free parking. There’s little to no public transportation in this part of the Poconos, so plan on driving if you want to explore spots like Skytop, nearby trails, or small towns. The upside is no traffic, scenic drives, and a really relaxed pace once you’re here.
